WF Hiawatha is a modern revival of an early Art Nouveau typeface first issued in 1888. Stately and playful at the same time, its unique letterforms make WF Hiawatha the perfect choice for fancy text, titling, display, or signage usages.
It features a complete set of completely redrawn characters, supporting Western and Eastern European languages, with ligatures, a border, and several ornaments. Included with the font is a royalty-free set of 379 evocative pen-and-ink drawings by Frederick Remington, from the 1891 edition of Longfellow’s epic poem “The Song of Hiawatha”.
WF Hiawatha is available in TrueType-flavored OpenType and WOFF formats, suitable for all major operating systems, and for web use. Please inquire about other formats. The clip art consists of black-and-white png images with transparent backgrounds, scanned at 1200 dpi.
